In this episode you'll hear about:
- The major astrological turning points that often coincide with late-in-life awakenings (Saturn return, Chiron return, Pluto transits and more)
- Why the feelings of change don't go away, no matter how long you wait
- How understanding your birth chart can help you stop blaming yourself and start understanding yourself
- The guilt, regret, and grief that come with leaving, and why doing your own inner work is the only way through
- Renee's personal story of coming out in her late twenties and what she's learned looking back through the lens of her chart

In fact, it was the day she was going to read my chart for me, my astrological chart. That was the first time we met. Since then, we have become fast friends. And Renee agreed to join the podcast to share a little bit about astrology, and about the way she thinks about midlife crises. Renee is an astrologer. Coach and the founder of Stellar Muse, an innovative approach to astrology that moves beyond personality labels to genuine self-discovery. So tune in for a wonderful episode with a close friend that has a lot of amazing insight about these points in our lives that feel like we might be having a midlife crisis, but really are turning points and what they mean and how to work with them. I strongly suggest you download it so that you can expand your notion of a midlife crisis to something much larger and much more spacious. I hope you enjoy the show. Hello and welcome to Unbox Yourself with Samantha Fox. Today I have on a wonderful guest, my friend Renee. Welcome, Renee.
Renee Rotkopf: Thank you, Sam. I'm so excited to be here with you.
Samantha Fox: Okay. So this is where we want to start. So many women that are coming out later in life, when they're having that moment of that awakening, are wondering what the hell is happening to them now? Why is this happening at this point in their life? And it doesn't matter, they can be in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, But when it happens, After they've been living a life of heterosexuality and they start having this awakening, right? So it's not just like the little feelings that they're having, but they're actually having the feelings in a way that they can't deny them any longer. Women start to ask themselves, what is happening? Am I going insane? Have I lost my mind? Is this perimenopause? In fact, today I got a email from a woman who had set up a clarity call with me and she filled out the application And she sent me an email and she said, I'm canceling my clarity call because I'm not ready to move on anything. she had filled out all of her history, all of her experience, what she was feeling. Is this because of perimenopause? She asked. So this is this thing that women do, they try to find a reason and what is going on to have this moment of wake up. And I know you also went through a time of waking up. And I think you also have a really interesting perspective to bring in on that that I think the listeners here need to hear about. So Tell us about d a little bit about your journey and what you found out about it along the way.
Renee Rotkopf: Yeah, yeah. thank you. so I went down the conveyor belt. you know, in my twenties, I had fallen in love with my ex-husband right at the start of college. And we were, you know, at the time I thought we were great partners and we were great roommates and we had fun together in bed and outside of bed and we got along great. And I was just like, okay, this is it. I didn't want to get married. It was always like something that was like, but I I don't think I'm I'm fine living with you, but I don't know if I want to get married. Like the institution of marriage was not really for me, believe
Samantha Fox: Yeah.
Renee Rotkopf: it or not. but I did when he proposed. I was like, I can't hurt him. I gotta
Samantha Fox: Mm.
Renee Rotkopf: say yes. And so I said yes. And so we got married. And then about two years after getting married, I fall in love with a woman. And it rocks my world. And I'm like, what the hell is happening to me? And I thought it was, it wasn't perimenopause, but I'm like, is this a past life connection with this person? Like, why am I so drawn to this person? I became obsessed with that person. And we became close friends, and things got kind of sticky and tricky, and we never had a relationship. but after being in this very emotionally dependent sexual attraction to this friend, after about two years, I was like something started to change inside of me and I realized I can't continue to be married. I can't continue to live with my husband. I'm not a wife. I want so
Samantha Fox: Mm-hmm.
Renee Rotkopf: many other things outside of this relationship. And You know, I went through that change and you know, I I didn't know about my astrology at the time. Right. maybe in my 30s, I was like, that was my first Saturn return. Like everyone says life can change during your first Saturn return, but I wasn't really an astrologer yet, so I hadn't really fully understood like what that means and what else was going on. But looking back at my chart, I started to understand the pivotal transits that were at play and how I was changing. You know, regardless of what my thoughts were, or, you know, the comfort zone that I had established or what I thought I was creating externally together in my marriage, there was something deeper inside of me. that was changing and I was becoming something else that I didn't even understand what it was yet, but I knew I needed to leave I'm an all in kind of person. Like when I'm in, I'm so in, right? And so when I was married, I was so married. So to me, having my feelings kind of like change so much. it was a lot, there was a lot of self-blame for many, many years. until I started to look at my chart and realize, my God, there was something else happening. my soul, right, was moving me towards something else.
Samantha Fox: So in that time when you realized I just can't do this anymore, like something in me is changing. It's been two years. I've had this intense connection to, I'm gonna call a catalyst. This person was your catalyst. And then
Renee Rotkopf: Mm, mm-hmm. Yeah. Major.
Samantha Fox: you were like, I just can't do this anymore. what were the things that you were saying to yourself? about yourself as you were exiting that marriage.
Renee Rotkopf: You know, as I was exiting, there was a lot of there was a lot of feelings of self-preservation and the desire to move forward. Right. So I couldn't wait to change, right? And and I think you know, in in the face of change, sometimes I feel like I can be that way. So it was more in hindsight. You know, over the next few years as I started to look back at my life and then, you know, realize, well, where am I now? Like what's going on? Why, you know, have I moved from like dysfunctional relationship with one woman after the other? What's going on here? Did I start to look back at what I had had? And I started to say, why did I leave? What was wrong with me? Like what
Samantha Fox: Mm.
Renee Rotkopf: was happening? Like, because I thought, you know, everything's gonna be hunky-dory on the other side. And that just opened up a whole other, let's say, can of worms that needed to be healed. Can of
Samantha Fox: Yeah.
Renee Rotkopf: worms that needed to be dealt with that I had not dealt with. It was like a a stepping into emotional maturity in a way that I don't think I was really fully aware of.
Samantha Fox: Which also, I mean, you said you were twenty eight when you left.
Renee Rotkopf: Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Samantha Fox: So I mean and and I was thirty two when
Renee Rotkopf: Wow.
Samantha Fox: I realized I was gay and I was married, and I was so immature. So at twenty-eight, I'm sure. I mean we're we're not we're not evolved at that age. Right. We think we know everything and we think we are. Yes.
Renee Rotkopf: No, we think we are. We think we are, totally. And thank God we think that way. You know.
Samantha Fox: my god. Or yeah, or else, you know, we probably wouldn't have done those things, right? We think we we know and yeah.
Renee Rotkopf: Right. Yeah. Right. Right. 'Cause I think as we get older, like it becomes harder to change.
Samantha Fox: Yes, and there's almost like more at stake, right? It's like I've been married for twenty years to my partner. We've built a whole family and a whole life and this is what I know and this is what's certain. And moving towards the uncertainty of it all is terrifying. The longer you're in it, really the harder it is to step out and not know what's coming next.
Renee Rotkopf: Totally, totally. And and and that that brings up an interesting point too, because you know, the longer we wait, the more life gets invested in that relationship, right? And the more fear we have of the future of being without that relationship. But the feelings of change never go away. You know, and just talking about it from an astrological perspective, because there are major turning points that happen, you know, from our late 20s to our 30s to our 40s to our 50s to our 60s. and there is an arc of are you living life authentically? You know, are you becoming who you really want to be? Changes that may be happening within you that you don't even realize. But life, I guess the point is life changes us. We think we're in full control of, you know, our lives. And the truth is, you know, we are a part of a larger conversation and our soul, you know, maybe moving us towards something that we're not ready to fully act on yet. But timing is always at play. Like timing is always at play.
Samantha Fox: Yeah. And so that takes us to what we were talking about with these major life transits you were saying that everybody has them, but they happen differently for each person or something like that. Yeah.
Renee Rotkopf: Yeah, so let's say they're major turning points, you know,
Samantha Fox: Turning points.
Renee Rotkopf: they're major turning points. Like a major turning point will be, you know, when when Pluto squares your sun. You know, Pluto squaring your sun. It's the first time that Pluto has, let's say, transited in your chart, and now it's squaring, making a square to your sun. And there may be something like at a at a bodily molecular. physical level that is starting to really shift and change. The the desire that you had for a certain way of living has now changed and you may have a another desire. You may be needing to go deeper inside yourself. And because of that, everything is now shifting. The ground that you are on is shifting and that square is not comfortable. That square creates a lot of inner tension and a lot of inner friction. And it's asking you to create something new. It's asking you to, you know, it's it's not like, I'm being supported here on this journey into the next chapter. Sometimes it could feel like, no, you've got to dig deeper. You've got to dig deeper into your emotional body. You've got to face your fears. You've got to face your shadow. Right. You got to come out on the other side. And so so a Pluto transit might feel like that. But there are so many other transits that we might be facing. We might be facing a a Saturn opposition, you know, at some point like in our in our 40s or 30s. And that Saturn opposition, you know, may may basically say, you know, there's there's some authority like figure in my life, you know, and I'm losing my authority to this, and I need to change. you know, in face of what I'm feeling or experiencing, something inside of me is changing and I need my authority back. I've got to step into my own authority, right?
Samantha Fox: Mm-hmm.
Renee Rotkopf: So that may be a a Saturn opposition, but then, you know, when we have our late 50s and early 60s, you know, we're we're dealing with our second Saturn return, which is the start of a whole what are we building? We're building a whole new chapter. Right. So a lot of times they say with you know, let's say you didn't do anything during your Saturn opposition. You're like, I couldn't. The kids, you know, mm my husband was sick or whatever. Like I I wasn't ready yet, but I knew something was happening during that.
Samantha Fox: Yes. Yes. I've heard this. I've heard this. I have a close friend who literally came out to her husband, was very clear about it, had young kids at the time, and just couldn't do anything about it and kind of went back in the closet for like another, I'm gonna say fifteen or twenty years even until Fifties, mid fifties.
Renee Rotkopf: Yeah, yeah. And and so the mid-50s, there there are two things that happen. There's the the Chiron return. it's a really beautiful myth. And Chiron is the wounded healer, but it's also the wounded teacher. And you know, it points to let's say something that happened. Don't know when it happened. Maybe it happened in your life. Maybe it's a vulnerability that your soul has carried into the life. Like don't really know. But but it's a vulnerability. There's something inside of you that feels like there's a core wound there. And in our 50s, we get to revisit that core wound. And it may be that there's a there's a crisis happening and we're feeling it so much. Like we're really feeling our wounds have been exposed. And it's exposed in a place that, you know, we have nothing to do left but heal it, but face it. But no longer feel like we've been hiding that wound, right? So there's a confrontation and a need to move past those wounds that happens in our 50s. And then the second Saturn return happens that says, okay, you're entering a new chapter. You can't move with that baggage that you've been carrying. If you move with that baggage you've been carrying, you're probably going to suffer moving into your 60s. You need to lighten that load and you need to start again.
Samantha Fox: And so are you saying that everybody goes through the Saturn opposition during the same age range?
Renee Rotkopf: yeah, but the year that it happens, you know, the sign that it's in are different. But a Saturn opposition, you know, might happen in your early forties, you know, where Saturn is opposing your Sun, and then all of a sudden it's going to come back to the same position that it was in when you were born. the first Saturn return is when Saturn comes back to that position and you're in your late twenties. The second time it comes back is when, you're in your late fifties, moving into sixty. Mm hmm. Yeah.
Samantha Fox: The second time you're in your late 50s. Okay. so for those people that are listening, and and I am becoming, I'm gonna say, slightly fluent in astrological language, but
Renee Rotkopf: Yeah.
Samantha Fox: for those people that are listening in that really don't know what it means to square my son, like what what's my son? can you just give a very simple description of sun, moon rising just so people know what we're talking about?
Renee Rotkopf: Sure, sure. the sun, moon, rising, they're they're known as the big three. But you know, we're we're so much more than our sun sign, right? So so many of us are like, yay, I'm a this and I'm gonna look at my horoscope, you know, or I, you know, may feel very embodied being a Leo or being a Libra or being a Capricorn, you know, but we're so much more than our sun sign. And the main parts of us are our sun, our moon, and our rising. And We all we have other positions as well. but those are the the main operating system. I like to call them the main operating system. And the sun is like your main mission here in this life. Like you are your sun sign. Some people might feel more like they're rising than their sun, and there's reasons for that, especially if your sun may be in the 12th house, not to get to Astrobabyl, but there are reasons why some people might not. Feel like their son, but most people feel like their son. Most people are like, yep, at my core, this is who I am. Not everyone likes those qualities, right? And so for me, like there's almost like this, you know, the ability to accept the fullness of you once you understand this is the chart that you're working with. You're here to work with these qualities, right? So so the sun is your main mission. The rising is how you rise in the moment, you know, like how
Samantha Fox: How you show up kind of.
Renee Rotkopf: you show up. How you show up, let's say at a cocktail party, you know, when you turn it on. Or, you know, let's say I have a friend who who is a major sag and she's got Virgo rising, and she shows up doing the thing, always doing, doing, doing, doing, doing, right? Virgos love to do. I have another friend that's a Gemini and she has Virgo rising. She's very detailed, very specific, very like, you know, she can chop a chop salad like really, really well. It's like the things you do in that moment, right? Like that's your rising. And and and sometimes that rising is something that we continue to learn more about, let's say, those other gifts that we have beyond the sun. But it's like another set of skills that we have
Samantha Fox: yeah.
Renee Rotkopf: once we're aware that that's what it is. Like awareness is everything. When you're aware of these parts of you, you start seeing how these parts operate in your life. And then there's the moon. And the moon is like, I like to call the moon the the the oldest and the youngest part of who we are. the youngest, because I think as children, we probably move through life as the moon. Like we move through life like in this emotional body that's just absorbing everything around us. That's just Feeling it all, you know, t taking it all in. But there's also something about the moon. And so then when we're triggered, as you know, we get older or or we're hurt when we're younger, it's like taking care of that inner child. It's good to understand well, what's the moon sign? What does that little child really want? What will soothe that moon? Right. And to understand. You know, what that moon really wants, like emotionally, what's going on, like the qualities. And the oldest, because there's also like a soul memory inside the moon sign. Like it's almost like the oldest part of you, you know, like there's a really deep knowing, a lot of meaningful conviction in, let's say, certain belief systems, in like you know, deep-rooted feelings, deep patterns because of the moon. so the moon is kind of in the background, but it's you know, y you can't put baby in the corner, you know, like Yeah.
Samantha Fox: so it it kind of represents in a way like your emotional body or s you know your emotional landscape. Okay. Okay.
Renee Rotkopf: Your emotional body, your emotional landscape. Mm-hmm. Yeah. And the qualities that it expresses, you know, and then of course, you know, the elements. Does it need, you know, more grounding? Does it need more air? You know, does it need more water? Does it need more intimacy? Does it need more practical routines? Does it need more ideas? Like to help it feel soothed.
Samantha Fox: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yeah, I love that.
Renee Rotkopf: Yeah.
Samantha Fox: So yeah, so there's there is so much more than just what we
Renee Rotkopf: Mm-hmm.
Samantha Fox: know. you know, I'm a Libra and I've always been like, yeah, I'm like pretty Libra, you know, but that was all I knew. And now
Renee Rotkopf: Yeah, yeah. Right.
Samantha Fox: I have more understanding. So yeah, so there's a whole world of things happening essentially is what you're saying, depending on your chart.
Renee Rotkopf: Yeah. And
Samantha Fox: Depending on all of these turning points.
Renee Rotkopf: Yeah. Yeah. Major, turning points will will reveal life changes. And you know, I think for years, right, we we we know about the midlife crisis. Midlife crisis, you may, you know, have an affair or, you know, buy a red car, right? And you know, with the classic, you know, midlife crisis. And and these are moments of coming back to yourself. Right. You've been living outside of yourself for so long, right? You have a midlife crisis and you think like, I'm gonna buy the thing or I'm gonna be with the person and that's gonna solve what's changing inside of me. But there's something deeper changing inside of you. There's something
Samantha Fox: Mm-hmm.
Renee Rotkopf: else that's happening. You're not the same person, let's say you were 10 years ago, 20 years ago. Like we are always evolving. And these major life transits, you know, start to give us some clues as to like what was happening during that time when I was feeling all the feels.
Samantha Fox: Right.
Renee Rotkopf: You know, what else was going on? So it's a beautiful way, like looking at your life through the lens of astrology is just such a beautiful way to understand the myth of you, right? The narrative that you tell yourself versus wait a minute, what else is actually going on? And
Samantha Fox: Yeah.
Renee Rotkopf: based on what else is going on. How can I forgive myself? How can I accept myself? How can I lean in to become more of myself? Right? It's a bit of a map. How do I use that map? Right?
Samantha Fox: Yeah, I love that. And especially when, like you said, we've spent so many years living outside of ourselves.
Renee Rotkopf: Yeah, yeah.
Samantha Fox: Right? And and you know, why is that? And that's because of how we're brought up and how we're conditioned and what society expects from us from the earliest of time and what we learn and what we see and what's normal and how we learn how to belong. And so we end up adhering to all of these, you know, ways of being in the world that really do take us outside of ourselves. even if we know that we're moving against what feels right, like I can say when I was going through getting married or the the stages before getting married, I knew it wasn't right. Like I knew that this was not right for me. And I still did it because it was what I had to do.
Renee Rotkopf: Right. Right.
Samantha Fox: And so, yeah, and so what what you're saying is is like once you also are able to understand your astrology, it's a way of really coming into yourself and moving into yourself and understanding yourself and also being able to work with yourself from, what is in your chart, and really grow and evolve there.
Renee Rotkopf: Totally. And and even for you, that part of you that let's say knew that you didn't really want to do this, but you were, you know, following a certain traditional path.
Samantha Fox: Mm-hmm.
Renee Rotkopf: Right? Like your your moon is in Capricorn. Capricorn is very traditional, you know, and and it has a lot of responsibility, maturity, integrity. Right. So there there may be a lot of, let's say, at the time, you know, you really felt like you really had to do this. You know, and then there's also like, you know, maybe you had to do this because, you know, of the kids, right? that you've given, you know, birth to that you brought into the world, right? our our minds can really get so caught or lost. You know, in the why, why, why. But you know, the the truth is there's there's so much that you know we do, you know, along the way. And there's so much that we learn about ourselves, even when we stay, right? Like even when we stay, we realize, you know, what our our our thresholds are, how long, you know, how much can we bear, you know, before we realize it's time to put ourselves first.
Samantha Fox: Yeah. Yeah. And that's another thing that I hear so much of is this fear that women have of regret, you know, as they move on for more years in whatever state they're in, even though they know they're having these feelings and this awakening is happening. What I hear is, you know, I don't wanna regret Leaving. I don't want to regret how I leave. I don't want to regret that I spent those years in that space. Like I don't want to feel any regret. And what I'm hearing you say is this is about being able to really like metabolize all of these feelings and learning from them and not letting like the mind games get in the way. But instead, this is part of your journey. Like it's It's part of your path.
Renee Rotkopf: Totally, totally. And and the regret game is real. But it too is an illusion. Right? It it too is an illusion. And, you know, like even even though like there are, let's say, astrological timings that may kind of fortify where you are in your life or where you were in your life, or or like help you understand, my God, what's happening to me now? You know, astrology is the map, but you're the territory, right? You know what will feel right for you, you know what you may not, you know, regret over time, You may need to just, you know, take your time, until it does feel like the time, right? But there's such a deeper need. to have a better relationship with yourself. Like it's almost like less about the actions that you take to finally be free or to finally like do this. and it's really more of like how how are you with you in in the process, in what whatever part of your process you are, how are you with you?
Samantha Fox: Yeah, it's so interesting listening to that and thinking back to, you know, my particular experience. And I don't know if yours I know you said in in maybe they were kind of similar, but for me, that time where I just knew I needed to exit, like I needed to be me more than anything because prior to that I had felt really dead on the inside. like I I really felt like I wasn't able to be me. But that said, that propelled me forward in such a way that in hindsight, I have some regret around how I went about some of the things. And again, 32, totally immature, you know, just not having the capacity to really. think things through in a great way. I wish I had done it totally differently. I really do. so yeah. I just think, you know, yeah.
Renee Rotkopf: I get it. I get it. And and and same. I think one when I left, I kind of left like I just left, you know, and awkwardly try to mend the you know the
Samantha Fox: Friendship.
Renee Rotkopf: break. Yeah, and the friendship. And never really fully knew how to do that. You know, I think it was almost like that became such a part of my own emotional journey to realize what I was and wasn't capable of. And and to also realize I'm someone that when you know I'm in, I'm all in, when I'm committed to something, I'm very committed to it. So it really takes like this kind of lightning bolt of I can't do this anymore. my God, I've got to run kind of feeling
Samantha Fox: Mm-hmm. Yes.
Renee Rotkopf: For me to leave because otherwise I will I will stay and I'll do and I'll keep going and I'll make excuses and that clean break kind of energy, that desire to kind of like, you know, really need freedom is what propels me out. but I think there's been a lot of years between then and now, you know, where where I've really learned, you know, more more interpersonal. skills of realizing like, yeah, the impact you may have on someone else just because you're feeling what you're feeling.
Samantha Fox: Yes. Yes. And that the other piece of that, is about, you know, guilt and carrying those feelings of, you know, wow, I really impacted somebody so negatively, they're devastated. You know, I had a lightning bolt. I needed freedom. And in the wake of that, I've kind of, you know, left them like roadkill on the side of the road, kind of thing. And I feel so guilty about that looking at them and the state that they're in. And also that, you know, that's another person, that's another soul, and also We can be thoughtful about how we're doing this when you're not just having a lightning bolt and you know everything's changing in two seconds. We can be thoughtful about it, but we can't change how that person who is really hurt is going to navigate their pain. They need to go on that journey for themselves. We can't help them through that and try to navigate it for them and try to change how they feel about it. We can't do any of that. And I think so many people get stuck in the guilt of having. cause this despair that they really want to jump in and kind of be the lifesaver. but, you know, that person also has a chart. right. And they also have, all kinds of things happening for them. And
Renee Rotkopf: Yeah.
Samantha Fox: who are we to try to alter that for that person?
Renee Rotkopf: Yes, totally, totally. You know, and I totally get it, you know, I've definitely had my own, you know, baggage around how not not only I've left my marriage, but then other relationships along the way, you know, always feeling terrible about breaking up with anybody, always feeling devastated when someone breaks up with me, when I didn't want that to happen. You know, and and then you start to realize like, there are no real contracts in life. It's really about our own personal growth. And sometimes people are meant to grow together and other times they're meant to grow apart. I keep thinking like karmically, you know, that relationship, my God, keeps coming back to me in my life. Like, why do we carry so much guilt? For someone, and then boom, like the next life that person shows up again, and we're like, why can't I get away from that person? Right? Is it our guilt that keeps that person coming back? You know? And I'm like, we don't
Samantha Fox: my gosh.
Renee Rotkopf: need to carry the guilt, right? Like, we don't need toxic bonds, trauma
Samantha Fox: Right, right, yeah, yeah.
Renee Rotkopf: bonds of connection. Like, we could be kind, be compassionate. and move on, right? but it's hard. We have to heal it and it that could take a a while.
Samantha Fox: Well, and we have to be and we have to be able to move through whatever emotions are underneath that guilt. So we might have our own sadness and loss about the fact that it's not working out, you know? And instead
Renee Rotkopf: Yeah, yeah.
Samantha Fox: of feeling that, we're just feeling for the other person. You know? So yeah.
Renee Rotkopf: Right, totally. Right, because it's your own dreams too. Yeah.
Samantha Fox: Exactly. Like we too have to go through this. And if we just s get stuck in guilt about what we've done and how we've left people, you know, then we're not able to do our work in moving through. We're avoiding our own feelings by just getting stuck in guilt and trying to help the other person. We're never moving through our own stuff.
Renee Rotkopf: Right, that's so true. That's so true. And and to be able to feel more healed on the other side, we have to go through our own stuff to finally feel free.
Samantha Fox: Right. Yes.
Renee Rotkopf: Right. if the end goal is to feel free, then we have to be willing, right, to take care of ourselves and to do the deeper work so that we can finally feel not guilty, not ashamed, you know, not like you're carrying the burden. of something that happened so long ago, right? That you would feel so much better if you found a way to just like put it down.
Samantha Fox: Yes, that's freedom. Definitely. Yeah, putting it down.
Renee Rotkopf: That's freedom. Yeah.
Samantha Fox: So Renee, for folks that are listening in that want to know more about, what they think they're having a midlife crisis, but they might just be in the middle of a turning point and they don't know that.
Renee Rotkopf: Yeah.
Samantha Fox: how can you help them?
Renee Rotkopf: what I'd like to give people that feel like they're in the middle of a really big transition is my turning point transit guide so that they could see some of the transits that are happening during certain pivotal times of life and and get a sense of what that might mean for them, right? To understand, like let's say what some of the archetypal energies. they're dancing with because that is what's happening is like transits happen and then you start dancing with these archetypal energies that are impacting your nervous system, impacting your mind, impacting your heart, and impacting like where you're living and and why, and you know, the need to change. And so they can go to thestellarmuse dot com slash shift.
Samantha Fox: Okay.
Renee Rotkopf: And they can get a turning point guide. And also I'm offering a three-session journey called the Big Shift that will do a deep dive into their chart to see and learn about themselves through their birth chart, and to also see where they are now, you know, in their life cycle and what they're dancing with. And then there'll be some integration. Sessions. They'll also have the use of my very soulful AI Stellar Muse to ask so many deep questions about where they are, about where they were, and then also have my support along the way to help them understand, let's say, how they could hold this relationship with themselves and their soul and their life path differently.
Samantha Fox: Hmm, I love that. So important. Just another layer of being able to do this work that, you know, in these times of huge turning points is needed. Like we need as much as we can get. Yeah. And
Renee Rotkopf: Totally.
Samantha Fox: this is like you can't see it, but you can feel it and it's there and it is affecting. You
Renee Rotkopf: God. The tr the transits that we're going through now, right? are are impacting all of us, right? to want to live life with more meaning, you know, to want to understand like a greater sense of purpose, to, figure out like, well, what's happening in life, or how do I escape the realities of life? And what do I need to do to make myself happy now? Right. Like there's so many larger questions. At this time, and you know, the one thing that even though it doesn't solve anything, but it explains things, or you know, astrology can give us, a really interesting framework for what the energies that we're dancing with. And it can give us some hope also, you know, what we're moving towards, what we're moving through. but it's clear that we're in a great breakdown for sure. societal breakdown, authoritarian, you know, kind of play during this breakdown. but at the same time, we're going through a tremendous awakening. More and more people's intuition are waking up, more and more people are realizing, you know, the script they fed me is not real or right or true for me. Right. There's a lot of people that are awakening to something else. And yeah, I believe very strongly in astrology being that level of support because it provides awareness, you know.
Samantha Fox: Yeah, it's like awareness. And also what I love is that it's always moving.
Renee Rotkopf: Mm.
Samantha Fox: Like the whole energy of it is it's constantly moving and changing. While we might feel very stuck in things being terrible, that might be how it feels right now. But that is moving and changing. And I think the astrology really helps. Reinforce that and support that change is happening.
Renee Rotkopf: Yeah, I love that you said that because it's so, so true. Like, you know, I I studied hypnosis for a while, but even that and astrology, it's like all we are is change and life is always changing. And you know, the illusion is we're stuck, right? And so we think we're stuck, and so because we're stuck with what's going on, there's so much suffering, right?
Samantha Fox: Yes.
Renee Rotkopf: In the stuckness. But the truth is we are changing, we're moving towards something else, and it's like. How are we perceiving? How are we participating? What are we waking up to in the process?
Samantha Fox: So good. I'm
Renee Rotkopf: Yeah.
Samantha Fox: gonna put the link to the
Renee Rotkopf: Hm.
Samantha Fox: turning points in the show notes so that people have them there. Okay. What is it called again?
